All-Star game caps prep career for graduates

Clay City alums, (from left) Kyler Rhodes, Will Kennedy and Ryne Hayes capped their high school baseball careers by competing in the East - West All-Star game held at Blackford High School in Hartford City on June 26. The trio was nominated by their high school coach, Ryan Swearingen and then selected by a committee of coaches, scouts and officials. All four classes of baseball were represented with the former Eels' West squad winning a come-from-behind thriller, 9-8. Submitted Photo.
