Area organization sets up pizza making seminar

Thursday, July 16, 2009

TERRE HAUTE -- Art Totality will host "The Art of Making Pizza," from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., and 3-5:30 p.m., Saturday, July 25, at La Familia Di Jeshua, 679 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute.

The event will feature Jeshua Campbell from La Familia Di Jeshua.

The event requires a ticket purchase as those attending will be eating the masterpieces that are created.

The event has been specifically designed to include the whole family, both in the creation and eating of the pizzas (children under 2 will be admitted free).

A family ticket will include instruction, personal pizzas, breadsticks, salad, cookies and punch.

The sessions will begin with a tour of the pizza parlor and a demonstration of dough tossing. Both Campbell and Aaron Rutenberg will instruct.

Family stations will then be set up and salad making will begin. Those attending will then move to making pizza and breadsticks.

The final creation for the day will be making sugar cookies with Boo Lloyd, owner of Crossroads Café.

To purchase tickets, contact Stacey Thacker at 812-887-4291 or e-mail Stacey@arttotality.com. Family tickets costs $12 for two, $24 for four and $36 for six. Space will be limited and tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
