Bee Ridge Church

Good Morning Everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful and blessed week. If you are new to the community, and you are looking for a church, we invite you to visit Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church. Or maybe you are just looking for a change, this applies to you, too. We are a small, friendly country church full of love for God, and we want to share that with you. Our church is not located in town, but it's worth that "little itty bitty" drive. We are located 1.4 miles north of Northview High School on Kennedy's Crossing Road. Of course, you can go straight west on Hendrix St. till it ends. Then make a right turn and we are at the top of the hill. You won't be able to miss our little brick church.

Church services start at 10:30 a.m. Our pastor, Jeff Bridgewater, bases his sermon on Bible scripture. We do have kids church downstairs at the same time. Prior to that, we have Sunday School for both adults and kids at 9:30 a.m. Larry Knight teaches the adults while his wife, Nancy, teaches the kids. We also have a ramp for wheelchairs and handicapped facilities inside. What more could you want! Come see us.

God's blessings from your friends at Bee Ridge Congregational Christian Church.

One thing we all need to know is about God's love, but not only that but God expects us to follow His rules. We're not to good following his rules, at least some of us aren't "perfect".

Truth be known none of us are but God still loves us and we're suppose to be examples of His love to others around us. God's

love is what we see talked about in 1 John 4:16 "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him". Through Jesus Christ, our greatest goal is to do all things in love. First Corinthians 13: 4-8 tells us "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

As we walk in the spirit of love we will do the things God expects of us. Are you ready to follow God's rules and follow His example.

He never leads us to do the wrong things and He always makes a way for His children. Sometimes things don't go the way we expect, if we lean upon Him and not our own understanding we will be victorious.

Please keep those in need in your prayers and if you can assist help them, also remember our troops and their families in your prayers. Pray for our country, it really needs it more and more.

Our church services are Sunday Study 9:30 a.m., and worship at 10:40 a.m. Contact the church at 446-5300, Pastor Steve weekends at 812-249-3309 or at our home at 446-4007.

Until we meet again by way of this page or in person, may God be your guide.
