Theater hosting 'Celebrate Recovery'

The Brazil Walnut Theater will host "Celebrate Recovery," presented by Les Rivera, July 28-29, from 6-9 p.m., each evening.

The theater is located at 24 S. Walnut St., Brazil.

The event will be a live praise and worship including music.

Area musician Jonny McLain, along with P150 and Breaking the Silence are scheduled to perform.

In addition, the live drama "Eternal Cry," will be performed as will stand-up Christian comedy.

Various other artists will also provide entertainment.

"Celebrate Recovery" is a praise and worship interactive Christian event with the purpose of giving back to the community to help those who are helping others.

It is open to anyone who wants to experience good clean fun while giving praise to God or those who have experienced hurt, habit or hang-up.

One hundred percent of all donations will go to the Clay County Food Pantry, House of Hope, Serving on the Streets and a benefactor to be named at the event.

Tickets for the event will be available at the door. A suggested ticket donation is $3 but no one will be turned away.

The theater concession stand will be open during the event.
