She was born Feb. 25, 1937, in Clay County, the daughter of Leonard Cooksey and Mae Sutherland Cooksey.
She was a past member of the American Legion Post 2, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge of Brazil.
She enjoyed her vegetable garden, crocheting and her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Siddons, who passed away in June 1977, and her second husband Robert Wyatt in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother Arlie Cooksey.
Survivors include sons Walter Siddons and wife Linda, Knightsville, and Wendell Siddons, Brazil, daughters Wanda Stultz and husband Jimmy, Carbon, and Barbara Grigsby and husband Dean, Brazil, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Margaret Grigsby, Brazil, and Linda Taylor, Plainfield, brothers Virgil Cooksey (Brenda), Clay County, Cletus Cooksey (Beth), Parke County, Harry Cooksey (Pam), Roy Cooksey, Clay County, and Gary Cooksey, Ft. Wayne, and a large extended family.
Services will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at French Funeral Home, with Pastor Allen Dowers officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday. Light a candle in her memory at www.frenchfuneralhome.com.
