CYFL, Bucks House of Color team up for fundraiser

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

Bucks House of Color and the Clay Youth Football League (CYFL) are once again teaming up in an effort to raise funds to help with the rising costs of field maintenance, insurance and other costs for the league.

Bucks House of Color, 10851 N. Harmony Northridge St., Brazil, will produce the mini six-inch football imprinted with the CYFL logo.

The football is an authentic version used by the sport and is made of a high-quality synthetic leather with a white panel that is treated to accept the printing of photos, logos or text.

The footballs cost $15 and come with a black acrylic display stand. In addition, buttons are $2 with 35 percent of all sales going to the league.

Those interested in ordering a football or button may do so by the use of an order form that will appear in The Brazil Times (and at bottom of this page) or by calling the business at 448-3546.

Bucks House of Color is open Monday-Friday, from 4:30-9 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The business is closed Sundays, but will take appointments.

The CYFL has plenty of team sponsors, but is also looking for local businesses to support the league through banner advertising.

Businesses sponsoring through banners will have the banner displayed at Ben McKinney Field for a cost of $200 and $125 for each additional year.

Businesses interested in advertising in the league's weekly program may do so for $40 per week on the front page, $20 per week for middle page, or $10 per week on the back page.
