Staunton First Christian Church
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30 a.m.
Doug Parkey is the minister. If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211; the bus is wheel-chair equipped.
Children's Church and Wee Worship meet at 10:30 a.m., in the Educational Building.
Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.
The annual church picnic will be held on Aug. 9.
The Clay County Friends of Wabash Valley Right to Life will meet at 6:30 p.m., on Aug. 13, in the meeting room of the Brazil Public Library.
We extend our Christian sympathy to Sarah Wheat on the passing of her husband, James Wheat, on July 18.

Happy Birthday to my great-niece Julie Dawson on July 31 and to my son Kenneth Mitchell on Aug. 1.
Remember that the Community Food Pantry is open the church's basement on the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, from 3-5 p.m. The next Food Pantry day will be Aug. 26.
Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.
We truly appreciate the support of Staunton First Christian Church and Staunton Elementary School, as well as other churches, civic organizations, and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success.
Please keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.
Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones. Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone.
