One of the top Drum and Bugle Corps in the nation is currently practicing in Clay County.

The Bluestars arrived at North Clay Middle School Tuesday morning and will be here until Saturday.

Currently, the Bluestars are ranked eighth in the country.

All rehearsals are open to the public.

A full rehearsal will take place this evening at the Northview High School back parking lot.

More rehearsals are scheduled to take place Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Bluestars will compete in DCI Semi Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Friday before competing in DCI World Championships, also at the stadium, Saturday.

The Boston Crusaders stayed at Clay City last year. It would be cool if a drum core stayed at one of the schools every year since world finals are at Indy.
