DePauw football and baseball coach resigns

GREENCASTLE, Ind. (AP) -- Matt Walker has resigned as DePauw football coach, and Robby Long has been named interim head coach.

Walker had been the football coach for the past three seasons and had been the school's head baseball coach since 2000. He resigned Friday. A new baseball coach has not been announced.

Long had been an assistant at DePauw since 2004.

DePauw opens its football season Sept. 12 at Anderson.
