United Way Fall Campaign kickoff set for Sept. 4

TERRE HAUTE -- The 2009 United Way of the Wabash Valley Fall Campaign will officially start at its campaign kickoff from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 4, at the Clabber Girl Festival Marketplace.

The event will include free food and entertainment for all including free hot dogs, chips, cookies and Pepsi as well as live music by Don Morris.

The results of the 25 Pilot Campaign Companies will be announced at 12:30 p.m., during a short presentation. The 25 United Way Pilot Campaign Companies include: AP&S Clinic, Aisin Brake and Chassis, Ampacet, City of Terre Haute, Clabber Girl, Columbian Home Products, Danisco USA, Duke Energy, Eli Lilly and Company, Hamilton Center, Macy's, Morris Plan, Novelis Corporation, Old National Bank, PolyOne, Regions Bank, Riddell National Bank, Sony DADC, Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos and Newlin, Forrest Sherer Insurance, Terre Haute Savings Bank, Union Hospital and United Way of the Wabash Valley.

Lunch will be served throughout the kickoff with the live music.
