The American Legion Post 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil, will celebrate its 10-year anniversary at its current location Sunday.
The event is scheduled to begin at noon.
A fish fry will take place at the event and will include two pieces of fish, baked beans and slaw, and coffee or tea. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12.
The dinner will begin at noon and will close when all the food is gone.
Games will take place as well. The legion will conduct raffles and a bake sale. In addition, door prizes will be given away every 30 minutes.
Members of the community will also be on hand to take part in a Pie-In-The-Face event, scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Taking part in the event include Judge Joe Trout, area attorney Charles Hear, Chaney's Diner associate Connie Trout, and Clover Sign associate Andy Allender. The legion is also inviting representatives from all area businesses to take part.
Taz Karaoke will provide entertainment from noon-3 p.m., and P.S. Karaoke will take over from 4 p.m., until the celebration ends.
Before moving to its current location, the legion was located at 22 S. Sherfey St., Brazil. The legion moved to that location in 1946.
