TERRE HAUTE -- Catholic Charities, Terre Haute, will conduct its annual benefit Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The event will feature Daniel M. Buechlein, OSB, Archbishop of Indianapolis.
It is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with a silent auction followed by dinner and presentations at 7 p.m.
The event will take place at the Idle Creek Golf Course and banquet center.
Cost is $50 per person, $100 per couple or $500 for a table of 10.
Co-chaired by Sally Stewart and Henry Smith, Catholic Charities 35th benefit dinner and silent auction will benefit the programs of Catholic Charities, Terre Haute, including Ryves Youth Center, Food Bank, Bethany House and Christmas Store and Household Exchange.
The programs serve nearly 10,000 people each year and distribute almost two million pounds of food each year to charitable pantries in the Wabash Valley.
