Monday, August 31, 2009

The Clay County Sheriff's Department is investigating an incident involving a shooting at a local business during the weekend.

Around 9:45 p.m., Saturday, officials were dispatched to a report of criminal mischief and shots fired at Specialized Pallet Builders, LLC, located at 8174 North County Road 150 West, Brazil.

According to officials, the company's security cameras recorded an unidentified white male -- wearing a white baseball hat, white T-shirt and dark colored pants -- was on the property and allegedly fired at least eight rounds at two parked vehicles and the business.

Several windows and doors were damaged during the incident.

Further details are unavailable at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.

Blast, I didn't know you could practice target shooting there!

If you're so hard up to shoot something, why not go to the range?

Hope they catch this guy, his actions give shooters a bad name.

Guns are dangerous, especialy when an idiot has one. I hope this person or anybody else don't come into town to target practice. Guns are a right to have in the right hands, not for idiots.
