MOORESVILLE -- The Northview boys' tennis team dropped to 0-7 this season with a 6-0 loss on the road to Mooresville.

Jacob Booker got his first start in goal for the Knights and made 18 saves in net and stopped a Pioneer penalty kick.

Josh Lynch had seven shots on goal for the Knights, but wasn't able to dent the scoreboard. Seven other North-view players had shots on goal in the contest. Nick Ross and James Bryan each had five steals and Mooresville outshot the Knights, 32-22.

"We played with a lot of intensity and stayed composed," coach Don Bryan said. "We just simply need to put it in the net. At some point the wall will come tumbling down in front of the net."

The JV team lost 10-0 despite 29 saves in goal by Matt Malone.

Northview is back in action this evening at West Vigo beginning at 5 p.m.
