Just wish someone would get inspired and get a new menu in this town, same old boring everyday food at every eating establishment! That's why most folks eat in Terre Haute or Plainfield. Come on Brazil, jazz it up!

Sherbear...you have obviously never been to Goodies Galore or Simply Decadent. No, they are not 5 star restaurants, they are what they are. Nice places to grab a quick bite of something light and delicious for lunch or to stop in and enjoy a bite with your frinds in a nice friendly atmosphere. Why don't you have anything good to say or best wishes to them instead of hating. All the hating on here is too much and quite frankly, it's very embarassing that people who are supposed to be grown up act worse than small children.

Most everybody I know would rather eat in Brazil to support our own town's economy and save gas money. Glad you can afford it.

Ditto on MoralsOrMoney's comment. Good luck to the Fishers and keep on making that ham salad croissant! Sorry you left Walnut St. but now you have a bigger and better building.

Have a great day.

Dear Proud, didn't know I was hating anything or anyone. My opinion is I can cook home made comfort food better than anything I have eaten in any of these places. Yes I can afford to go to nice places and thankful of it. I think you have over reacted, hit a nerve? Maybe I am not the immature one here.

I'm with Proud of My Country.

I'm with "Proud" too! I love Mary's food and she is one of the warmest people on the planet, which translates into the atmosphere at Goodies Galore. I've eaten at her new location several times, and love the ambience and "down home" food.

And no one makes a no-bake cookie like this woman. She has cost me many hours on the elliptical. :)

OK you all have done a good job on me, thanks!

I apologize, I was not aiming at anyone. I hope their business is blessed and prospers.

I probably will keep my opinions to myself in the future and that's where ya'lls belong as well.
