The eighth-grade squad was a 25-17, 16-25, 15-10 winner as Emily Pollard posted four points with three assists and a service ace. Jami Warner contributed eighth points with Audrey Clark posting a point and three assists in the win. Lorrie LaTourette had three kills for the Knights and Shelbi Morris added five points, three aces and three kills. Lindsey Potter rang up two points with two kills and Liz McVeigh had five points.
In the seventh-grade match, North Clay was a 25-10, 25-5 winner against the Wildcats as Hannah Minor had eight points and both Kenzi Kumpf and Lainey Latham had five points apiece. Kumpf also had a pair of kills.
Shea Britton and Whitney Halfhill added two kills apiece and Taylor Hess had two assists. Madison Nevins, Deaven McCrocklin, Hess and Halfhill all had a point.
The Knights are back in action on Monday with a trip to Chauncey Rose to face the Royals at 5 p.m.
