AL ASAD, Iraw -- Sgt. Vance Smith, native of Brazil and soldier of the 138th Quartermaster Support Co., moves from being a mechanic to an assistant machine operator and safety supervisor for the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Egress Trainer. After three days of training, Sgt. Smith was fully certified to operate the machine for all branches of the military who train rollover egress tactics. AL ASAD, Iraq -- Tenth Sustainment Brigade's Command Sgt. Maj. Allen G. Fritzsching, a native of Houston, paid a visit to the Fuel Farm on Al Asad Airbase recently.
