The poll, which is released on Mondays of every week, has the Marching Knights sitting on top of the class with 119 votes. Northview received seven first-place votes in Class B this week.
Northview has been at the top of all Class B bands since the 2009 polling season began three weeks ago.
Jasper moved from a tie for second to second by itself this week, tallying 111 votes. Jasper also had one first-place vote.
Greenwood, which tied with Jasper for second last week, moved to fifth this week with 89 votes.
New Castle Chrysler was third in this week's poll with 95 votes, followed by DeKalb (89 votes), Greenwood, Concord (83 votes), Plainfield (83 votes), Northridge (58 votes), Floyd Central (39 votes), Mt. Vernon (39 votes) and New Palestine (39 votes).
Other Class B bands receiving votes this week included East Noble, North Side, Bloomington North, Zionsville, Evansville F.J. Reitz, Evansville North, Greenfield-Central and Plymouth.
The Clay City Imperial Regiment fell out of the poll this week after tallying only 30 votes.
Springs Valley remained at the top of Class D with 120 votes, including all eight first-place votes, followed by Lewis Cass (108), Forest Park (102), North Posey (96), Woodlan (90), Paoli (77), Bluffton (71), Orleans (62), Southridge (59) and Monrovia (47).
Other Class D bands receiving votes this week included Morristown, the Imperial Regiment, Adams Central, Triton Central, Tell City, Garrett, Eastern (Greentown), Blue River Valley, Henryville and Pioneer.
The Imperial Regiment will compete in two contests Saturday while the Marching Knights take part in one.
In the morning, Clay City will compete in the Avon Invitational against Riverton Parke and Springs Valley. Clay City is scheduled to take the field at 10:56 a.m.
In the evening, the Imperial Regiment will take part in the Greenwood Invitational. Clay City will take the field at 4:13 p.m., and is up against Morristown, Triton Central and Springs Valley.
The Marching Knights will compete in the Brownsburg Invitational Saturday. Northview will begin its performance at 7:45 p.m., and will compete against Plainfield and Jasper.
