The following is a list of upcoming events provided to The Brazil Times:
The Clay County Extension Homemakers will present "Ordinary things used in extraordinary ways," at 10 a.m., Tuesday.
In addition, at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 27, "Christmas in Norway," will be presented during Homemakers Week, by Sue Berg.
Crochet a cotton washcloth at the Brazil Public Library beginning Thursday.
The class will run three weeks beginning Thursday, Oct. 8, and continuing on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. Classes will begin at 6 p.m.
Space is limited to 10 participants. Cost for the class is $12.
Supplies will be furnished. Pre-registration and pre-payment will be required and the library will not take registrations over the phone.

The R.E.I.N. Community Center Library has scheduled a Jonah Fish Fry from 4-7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16.
The event will take place in the Orange Building at Goshorn Memorial Park, 200 Nye St., Clay City.
The menu will consist of fish, baked beans, green beans, cole slaw or applesauce, bread, tea or lemonade. Dessert will be available but is not included in the menu.
Cost is $7 for adults in advance and $3.50 for children. Cost at the door will be $7.50 for adults and $4 for children.
Live entertainment will be provided from 6-7 p.m.
Advance tickets are currently available at both Clay City banks and the Clay City Pharmacy.
All proceeds will go toward the new community building for Clay City.
Carry out will be available.
The Bowling Green Order of the Eastern Star will host a Turkey Supper from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17.
The event will take place at the Bowling Green Community Center. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children. Drinks and desserts are included in the meal and carryout will be available.
All are invited to attend.

The Clay County Senior Center will host a Euchre Tournament at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24.
Cost is $10 and all proceeds will go to the United Way. Those interested in participating must make a reservation.
