Ernest E. Ringo

Ernest E. Ringo, 70, Clarksville, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.

He was born Aug. 20, 1939, Brazil, to the late Karl and Virginia (Julbert) Ringo. He was the Co-owner/operator of KOA Campgrounds in Clarksville and was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Ringo, Clarksville, daughter Robin (Frank) Laiacon, Manchester, Mich., son G. Brett Ringo, Canton, Mich., step-son John (Carla) Walton, Terre Haute, two step-daughters Paula K. Walton and Pam (Rob) Moore, Clarksville, brother Larry (Donna) Ringo, Brazil, sister Kay Ann Deverick, Terre Haute, and two grandsons Johnny and Joshua Joseph.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 10 a.m., at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Summit Cemetery, Brazil. Visitation will be Thursday, from 4-8 p.m.
