Born in New Goshen, on Aug. 11, 1925, she was the daughter of Joseph and Bertie (Kinley) Roberts and they have preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker. She was a student at the Conservatory of Music where she played the organ, and had also been active in the Wabash Senior Activity Center.
She is survived by her daughter Terry Guriel, North Carolina, son and daughter-in-law Richard and Marilyn Guriel, Terre Haute, grandchildren Tiffany Guriel, Darci Guriel, Bethany Bayne, Thad Guriel, Tonya Whitman, Travis Martin, and Tassy vonKracke, great-grandchildren Gus Whitman, Hallack Whitman, Caroline Bayne and Bremen vonKracke, and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her sisters Rhoda Eddington, Beatrice Hooper, Nellie Dawes, Betty Freund, and Lillian Hamilton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Calling hours are on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
