Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Anderson

Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Anderson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, Oct. 17, with a family dinner at The Landing in Terre Haute.

Bob and Mary (Pell) were married Sunday, Oct. 16, 1949, at the Harmony United Brethren Church by the Reverend Ralph Miller.

Bob retired from IBM in Greencastle in 1987 and Mary in 1986 from Clay County Hospital.

The couple have three children, Denny Anderson and wife Vicki, Walled Lake, Mich., Jayne Thomas and husband Greg, Terre Haute, and Lyna Chaplin and husband Mark, Martinsville.

They also have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
