Michelle was born at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Ariz., July 30, 1954, to Billy M. Woolf and Nadene (Meyer) Woolf. She grew up in Bowling Green and graduated from Clay City High School in 1972.
After graduation, she returned to Tucson, Ariz., to live her adult life.
She is survived in Tucson, Ariz., by her husband of 25 years, Bertram Polis, and her daughter, Emily Fay Polis.
Indiana survivors are her parents, brother Jack (Jacqueline) Woolf, sister LaFonda Woolf, nephews Christopher Woolf, Kelcy Cook and Kevin Cook, niece LaKyla Cook, aunts Beverly (Charles) Meyer and Carol (Max) Lowe, and cousins.
She celebrated her life by befriending everyone therefore leaving many friends and acquaintances.
A memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Bowling Green United Methodist Church.
