'Pink in the Park' event set

Friday, October 16, 2009

CLAY CITY -- Richardson Photography in Clay City recently announced its first "Pink in the Park," in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer and the American Heart Association.

On Nov. 14-15, at Clay City Park, the business will host the event. It will take place in the Green Building.

Persons wanting to participate will wear their favorite pink outfit to show support for breast cancer or their favorite red outfit to show support for the ongoing battle against heart disease.

Richardson Photography will take pictures of those in attendance.

Online proofs and ordering will be available two weeks following the event. Twenty-five percent of all proceeds made through online sales or direct sales will go the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer or the American Heart Association, depending on the color worn for portraits.

"We are very excited to host an event such as this for two phenomenal causes," Richardson Photography owner Denise Richardson said.
