Helen Irene Kitch, 87, Brazil, died at 8:50 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Exceptional Living Center, Brazil.
She was born July 18, 1922, in Akron, Ohio, as the daughter of Ira and Margaret Adams Boyce.
She graduated from Brazil High School and was employed for several years at the Clay IGA in Brazil.
She married Wm. Pittman, who was killed in 1944, during World War II.
She married Melvin Kitch Jan. 4, 1947. He preceded her in death Aug. 20, 1986.
She was a member of the First Apostolic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Wm. Pittman and Melvin Kitch, brothers Vance and Donald Boyce, and grandson M. Todd LeMay.
She is survived by daughter Karen LeMay and her husband Francis "Fuzz," Brazil, grandson C. Scott LeMay and wife Traci, Brazil, great-grandsons Matthew T. and Marcus S. LeMay, both of Brazil, sister Betty Glasgo, Charlotte, N.C., sister-in-law Florence Mason and husband Durham, Knightsville, cousin Kathryn Trout, Brazil, close friend Lois Glitz and husband Billy, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Private burial services were conducted by Moore Funeral Home at Clearview Cemetery.
