Ruby Fern Hatcher, 82, Brownsburg, Ind., formerly of Brazil, died at 9:50 a.m., Monday, Oct. 26, 2009, at Brownsburg Meadows.

She was born March 28, 1927, Hudson, Ill., as the daughter of George and Mabel Carpenter Arbuckle. She had worked as a waitress and at Mallory Corp. She had attended Carbon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Cliff Lane, Denton Bryant and Henry Taylor, one daughter Yvonne Turner, four sisters Beulah Arbuckle, Margie Peasley, Doris Coffey and Betty Arbuckle, and five brothers Carol, Rich, Kenny, Milfred and Eddie Arbuckle.

She is survived by one sister Evelyn Arbuckle, two sons Jimmy Lane and Kevin Hatcher, three daughters Carol Davis, Sandy Pendleton, and Teresa Wolfe, 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., with Chaplin Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mannon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 E. 91st St. Ste 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209-4830 or the Indiana Alzheimer Disease Fund, c/o Indiana University Foundation, PO Box 660245, Indianapolis, IN 46266-0245.
