The event will take place at the American Legion Post 2, 1015 Forest Ave., Brazil. Registration is scheduled for noon-12:30 p.m. Judging will then take place.
This year's judges include Iraqi war veteran Phillip Anderson, WTHI News 10 meteorologist David Wire and Brazil Mayor Ann Bradshaw.
Anyone in the community is invited to participate in the cook off. The entry fee costs $5.
The winners will be announced following judging of all chili.
The winning cash prize will be determined based on the amount of entries into the contest.
In addition, those interested in attending the cook off may purchase a bowl of chili for $2.
