Clay County Day Set for January

The Clay County Day reunion will be held Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, in Bradenton, Fla. All present former county residents and their guests are welcome. The buffet luncheon will be held in Mattison's Riverside Ballroom at the Twin Dolphin Marina.

Prepaid reservations are necessary. Letters will be sent out in mid-November to those who have attended the reunion in the past two years. For those who have not attended for awhile, or if you know someone who would like to receive an announcement, please telephone 812-448-1124 and give the information to Marry Jo Butts, 2008-2010 chairperson. Attendees can be assured a party-like atmosphere with lots of fun, delicious food and genial fellowship.

This will be the 31st year Clay County Day has been in existence.

It is a special time of the year when county "snowbirds" as well as Clay County "transplants," come from various Florida locations to celebrate their heritage, renew acquaintances and make new ones.
