Council approves requests

The Clay County Council quickly went through a short agenda during its meeting Monday night.

Additional appropriations were unanimously approved for reassessment and training ($99,860) and the reassessment contract ($22,440) with Tyler Technologies, Inc./CLT Division, Dayton, Ohio.

Clay County Assessor Mark Barnhart said the funds had been encumbered from 2008 and needed council approval to be accessible.

The council also approved the transfer of $16,000 within the Jail Fund, with $12,000 moving to the part-time jailer line item, and the other $4,000 into the overtime line item.

The next meeting of the Clay County Council will be 6 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7, in the Commissioners Courtroom at the Clay County Courthouse.
