This year, the organization will have the event at the new V.F.W., 303 S. Depot St., Brazil.
A dinner has been scheduled for 4:30 p.m., featuring pork loin, cheesy potatoes, beans, roll and beverage for $8. Desserts will also be available.
Charlie Brown will begin the auction at 6:30 p.m.
Items will also be available at a silent auction.
At 8 p.m., musical group the Midwest Playboys will entertain in the V.F.W. lounge.
The committee has purchased many toys, tools, gift items and Christmas decorative items that will be included in the auction. In addition, donations came from A Cut Above, Almost Christmas, Baeslers Market, Beading Frenzy, Blue Moon Gifts, Brazil Coffee Company, Brazil Walmart, Brazilian Lanes, Clay City Pottery, Crafters Mall, Eddie's Sandwich Shoppe, First Financial Bank, Fiesta Hair, Hair Inc., Hair Production, WV Harley Davidson, Heavenly Flowers, Highway 40 Furniture, Lynn's Pharmacy, Mario Bros. Restaurant, Movie Gallery, Sam's Hardware, Subway, Sugar N Spice, Shear Image, Sherwin Williams, John Howes State Farm, Terre Haute Savings Bank, Yesterday's Treasures, the YMCA of Clay County and the Crock, 92.7-FM.
The Christmas In The Park parade has been scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, going through downtown Brazil, and is sponsored by Lynn's Pharmacy.
The lights in Forest Park will be lit up after the Aerial Arts/CIP Fireworks Show at the park, beginning at 9 p.m., Nov. 27, following the parade.
Radio station 102.7-FM WBOW, will again provide musical accompaniment to the fireworks.

I think CIP is wonderful!They really keep Christmas alive in this community.With the economy and all the rushing around these wonderful group of people always seem to have the right fund raisers to make it a magical season for all.I for one try and donate when I can and voluteer for the Haunted House each year.It truly is a wonderful cause, so KUDOS Christmas in the Park.I cannot wait to see the parade and park lit up this year!
The dinner and auction were WONDERFUL Saturday evening!!!!! The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed the auction!!! It was so good to see several people whom I'd not seen in years, and "Thank You" to everyone involved for
such a great evening. Looking forward to next year!!!!! And special Thanks to my grandson Jeffrey Foulke for being part of the CIP committee!!!!
