There are some new faces at the Brazil City Police Department, eight to be exact. Pictured with Mayor Ann Bradshaw and the son of a reserve officer, Ryan Brackman, are new reserve officers (from left) Matthew D. Johnson, Todd Brackman, Josh D. Deal, Martin D. Harris, Ryan S. Herbert, Dana A. Lindley, Johnnie M. Bohnert, Robert W. VanBuren III and Brazil Police Chief Dave Archer. Bradshaw, with assistance from Archer, performed individual swearing-in ceremonies in her office for the new officers and members of their families. "This will be a great asset to the department," Bradshaw told The Brazil Times. Archer agreed, "We've been a little shorthanded recently and this will really help bring us back up to full strength."
