The event, which is being sponsored by the Clay County Republican Club as part of the club's ongoing speaker series, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the event.
Moss will speak about issues he sees facing Clay County. There will also be an opportunity for people to ask questions.
Moss was first elected to the Clay County Council in 2002. He was reelected in 2006 and is serving his second term.
Moss grew up near Clay City. After receiving an A.S. degree in Agribusiness from Vincennes University in 1983, he became a consultant in agribusiness for more than 13 years. Currently, Moss works as a Certified Financial Planner Practitioner with Moss Wealth Advisors.
Moss is past President of the Clay County Council, past President of the Clay City Lion's Club, past President of the Clay City Band Boosters, Treasurer and Deacon of the Good Hope Baptist Church and a Vice President and Executive Board member of the West Central Indiana Economic Development District.
Previous speakers from the 2009 series have included Indiana Department of Natural Resources Director and former Clay County Sheriff Rob Carter, Clay County Assessor Mark Barnhart, Clay County Treasurer Debbie James, Clay County Sheriff Mike Heaton, Clay County Prosecutor Lee Reberger, Indiana State District 37 Senator Richard Bray, Indiana State District 39 Senator John Waterman, and United States Senate candidate Marlin Stutzman.
