Area resident Ted Paris (right) was honored recently with the 2009 Colts Community Quarterback Award by current Colts' player Curtis Painter. The program was designed to recognize Colts season ticket holders who have demonstrated outstanding service to their community through volunteerism. The program recognized Paris for having an outstanding community service record, as well as showing continued support of various community initiatives. The Colts said they are proud to have season ticket holders who not only support the team inside the stadium, but also help them spread the heart behind the horseshoe by donating their time and efforts to community service. The Colts invited Paris to a luncheon on Oct. 20, in Carmel, where he and other award recipients were honored during a special recognition ceremony.
