The North Clay boys' basketball teams had tough games against Woodrow Wilson on Monday evening falling in both the seventh- and-eighth-grade games to the Warriors.
The eighth-grade Knights dropped a 25-14 decision in the 'A' game before bouncing back to win 22-20 in the 'B' contest.
Ethan Whitson led the Knights in the 'A' game, scoring six points with Nate Newton adding three along with Daniel Kimball and Connor Ganly tallying two.
In the 'B' game the Knights got eight points from Colton Burgess and four apiece from Jeremy Maffioli and Connor Ringo. Zach Moore tallied two along with Kelly Hawkins. Both Bo Stewart and Austin Butts scored a point each.
The eighth-grade is back in action on Nov. 30 at Otter Creek.
The seventh-grade 'A' team fell by a 49-29 score to the Warriors as Derek Mills scored nine points and Joe Ball added six. Jacob Harden added four along with Kurtis Yocom and both Mitch Thomas and Keegan Roembke scoring two apiece.
In the 'B' game, Woodrow Wilson won a 36-23 decision as Zene Colson scored eight and K.J. Thomas added three points. Levi Brown, Blake Mershon, Bubby Dickison, Gabe Rogers, Austin Russell and Skylar Aguilar each had two points.
The seventh-grade Knights host Otter Creek at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.
