The United Way of the Wabash Valley will be having a 10-day, live online auction called "Bid United."
The auction is set to begin at 9 a.m., on Sunday, Dec. 6. The Bid United Online Marketplace will feature merchandise and services from local businesses. Using auction-style bidding, consumers can place bids on items, and if at the end of the auction they are the highest bidder, they win.
All transactions will be processed online using secure payment methods or in-person at the United Way of the Wabash Valley Office.
Consumers can begin looking at available bidding items now at www.bidunited.org. More than 70 packages can be bid on including a Playstation 3, baseball glove chair, autographed memorabilia, luggage, billboard space and much more. The auction will end at 8 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 15. All proceeds of the event will benefit the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
