Jolly visit!

Thursday, December 10, 2009

Students at Jackson Township Elementary School had the opportunity to visit with Santa Thursday. Kindergarten student Sydney Maurer, the daughter of Jason and Amie Maurer, Brazil, told Santa what she wanted for Christmas this year. Each student who visited with Santa received a candy cane and a Christmas drawing to color.

We can't have God in school, but we can have Santa Clause ?

I think it's wonderful that Santa visits the schools each year! That is a big highlight for a lot of children! Merry Christmas to each of you.

I have a daughter that goes to Jackson Township and I for one know that every morning they have a moment of silence for prayer. They say that on the announcements. So reddevil, you need to know the whole story before you make a comment. These kids enjoy this and for some was the only time to talk to Santa.
