Pastor Ken Thomas, former ordained elder with the McKinley Hill Church of Christ, has accepted the pastorate for Community Missionary Church, 21 W. Pinckley St., Brazil, along with his wife Beverly.

The official church board and members announced at the Nov. 9 meeting, his acceptance. Pastor Ken recently retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many faithful years.

The Thomas' have three children, Eric, Mandi and Josh, and reside on Airport Rd. Ken and Beverly are lifelong residents of Clay County and both are graduates of Van Buren High School.

Pastor Ken Thomas and Beverly, along with the members of Community Missionary invite teens and families to visit with us. If you are looking for a church or Sunday school.

Sunday School services are at 9:30 a.m., with church at 10:30 a.m., and Sunday evening service from 6-7 p.m.

We have plenty of parking space, a cry room, and rooms for the primary during services.
