To the Editor:

The Knights' Sports Boosters would like to extend a huge thank you to all the businesses and individuals that sponsored baskets, provided door prizes, and assisted with the organization of the Basket Bingo, held on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Kennedy's Crossing Bingo Hall.

The event was a huge success and enjoyed by many.

We would like to thank the following: DeAnn DeBoer, Longaberger Basket Consultant; Jan Gambill, NHS athletics; Ed Burt, Annunciation Church; Kennedy's Crossing Bingo Hall; A+ Printing; A Cut Above; Anonymous Donor; Aerial Arts and Fireworks; Blue Moon Gifts; Bob Bowen Ford; Capture the Moment Photography; Caribbean Works Training; Clear Lake Veterinary Hospital; Coaches Corner; Coach and Cleaters; Coughanowr Insurance; Curves; Dalton Chiropractic; Double N Diner; Dr. Austin Burns, DDS, Eagles Lodge No. 274; Edward Jones Investments, Lynsey Lunsford; Emmert GMAC; Fiesta; French Funeral Home; Fun Time Scuba and Fitness; Garmong Construction; Gaskill's Barber Shop; G. All monies earned by the Knights' Sports Boosters are returned in some form back to the athletic program at Northview High School and North Clay Middle School.

Some of the funds provided by the Knights' Sports Boosters are used to purchase additional equipment for teams, supplement uniform supplies, and scholarships. We also supply T-shirts to recognize students for their achievements in the Western Indiana Conference (All-Conference and WIC Champions).

All Northview athletes that compete in two or more sports received a multi-sport T-shirt and Scholar Athletes receive one for their athletic participation in the classroom.

Since we won the conference in a number of sports last year, this added up to hundreds of T-shirts.

If interested in becoming a member, please contact a Knights' Booster Club officer or the Northview/North Clay athletic department.

Thank you again to a great community,

The Knights' Sports Booster officers, Tony Sciotto,

Steve Bell, Laura Sanders and Shannon Sampson
