Being nice for Santa

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Dakota Bowels, 22 months, and Kalissa Bell, 3, had a special visit with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus Tuesday evening during the 2009 Shop With A Cop event at Riddell National Bank. The children's parents are Tara Bowles and Darin Bell, Brazil. Event organizer Brazil City Police Chief Dave Archer matched numerous law enforcement officers/employees and their spouses from the BCPD and the Clay County Sheriff's Department and various helper elves, including Mayor Ann Bradshaw, Riddell National Bank employees and local business owners. During the two-day event, 87 children and their parents were taken on a shopping trip to Walmart. Ivy Jacobs Photo.
