The National Weather Service based in Indianapolis issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Clay County Sunday.
The advisory is in effect until 1 a.m., Monday.
The agency estimated the area could receive up to 1-3 inches of snow throughout Sunday, with steady temperatures in the upper 20s.
There is a chance of flurries throughout Sunday evening, with lows measuring around 19.
Chances of flurries were possible until the middle of Monday, with temperatures reaching the upper 20s.
The service called for a partly cloudy evening with lows around 15 Monday, but no snow.
In addition, it called for no snow Tuesday, but temperatures would not get above the upper 20s.
The possibility of snow is expected Wednesday afternoon, with highs in the mid-30s. The chance of snow, according to the service, is 20 percent.
Snow is again a possibility Wednesday evening, with lows in the mid-20s.
There is also a 30 percent chance of snow Thursday.
