Edrie Jean Bradbury, 77, Brazil, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Brazil, Oct. 11, 1932, to Elmer and Minnie (Frazier) Parker and was adopted by Charles and Lilly (Harvey) McKenzie.

She graduated from Brazil High School in 1950. She married Charles Bussing of Brazil in 1950 and they had five children.

She later married Edward Bradbury of Farmersburg in 1967, and they had one child.

She was retired from Columbia House Records after 29 years of service and was a rural paper carrier for The Brazil Times for 10 years during her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven of her siblings, Opal Stephens, Otis Parker, James Parker, Sherman Parker, Clyde Parker, Everett Parker, all of Indianapolis, and Martha Jane Knight of Texas.

She is survived by her sister Mary Katherine Jacob of Indianapolis and her six children, Charles A. Bussing Jr., Brazil, Joseph M. Bussing, Hawaii, Lorinda Davison, Texas, Lonnette Sellers, North Carolina, Lori Kelley and her husband Matt, Terre Haute, Gene Bradbury and his wife Valerie, Sullivan, 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation services are being handled by Mattox-Wood Funeral Home.

Visitation Remembrance will be at First Baptist Church of Rockville from 1:30-2:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, with a memorial service beginning at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Anne Clinic, 1436 Locust St., Terre Haute.
