* Wabash College

Wabash College Dean Gary Phillips has announced that two Spencer area students are on the Dean's List for the fall 2009 semester.

Robert Chase Haltom, a senior, son of Mr. and Mrs. Renos Haltom, 1200 Wallace Junction Road, Quincy.

Clinton Brandt Warner, a freshman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. Warner III, 4842 Autumn Hills Drive, Spencer.

The two Spencer area students are among the 239 Dean's List students who maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0 point scale.

Located in Crawfordsville, Indiana and founded in 1832, Wabash is a private liberal arts college which teaches men to think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely.

The Honors List for the 2009 fall semester at the University of Southern Indiana has been released.

Dr. Nadine Coudret, interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, reported that 2,080 students were named to the latest Honors List.

Students must achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average (on 4.0 system) to be named to the list. Students earning no IN (incomplete) grades for the term and earning letter grades of computable point value (S/U and P/N graded courses do not apply) in 12 or more semester hours with a semester grade point average between 3.5 to 4.0 are named to the list.
