The event will take place in the Clay County 4-H Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
The event serves as an opportunity for both old and new 4-H'rs and Mini 4-H'rs to ask questions and see some of the projects that are available.
Those interested in signing up for the first time may also attend.
Games, prizes and face-painting will be available.
Every child who comes will receive four free tickets to play games. Additional tickets will be available at four for $1.
Refreshments will also be served.
Last year, approximately 200 people attended the event.
Current 4-H Clubs are also invited to set up a display about their club and visit with potential members. Clubs interested in setting up a display should call 448-9041.
In addition, the first Mini 4-H meeting of the year has been scheduled for Monday, March 15.
Mini 4-H is a program designed to introduce boys and girls in the first- and second-grades to 4-H.
There are 17 projects for those interested to choose from.
Interested children are required to attend four meetings, which are conducted by the Clay County 4-H Junior Leaders. They will participate in crafts, recreation, and receive information about exhibiting their mini projects during fair week.
The fourth meeting consists of a picnic and games.
The March 15 meeting is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m., at the Clay County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
Those interested in signing up for Mini 4-H have until March 15 to do so. Call 448-9041 for more information.
The three remaining Mini 4-H meetings will take place April 19, May 17, and June 21. All meetings will begin at 6 p.m., and take place in the Exhibit Hall.
