ISP officer back on patrol after tour of duty

Thursday, January 21, 2010

Indiana State Police Trooper Shilo Raulston recently returned to duty at the Terre Haute ISP District, where he will patrol roadways in Clay County.

Raulston completed a 13-month long tour of duty in Iraq this past December as a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard. He is assigned to the 138th Quartermaster Company, located in Brazil.

In Iraq, Raulston served as Platoon Sergeant for the Fuel Farm in Al-Asad and then Force Protection NCO in Ramadi. He is a 10-year veteran of the Army National Guard.

Raulston is a two-and-a-half year member of the Indiana State Police Department and resides in Clay County with his wife and daughter.

"I am excited to get back on the road, serve the citizens of Indiana and more specific, the Clay County Community," Raulston said.
