Karen Jean Medlin Thompson, 53, Bowling Green, died at 1:10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at her residence, after battling a terminal illness.

She was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Greenfield, Ind., as the daughter of Arthur "Tiny" and Mary Medlin.

She married Mac Thompson April 14, 2006, and he survives.

She was employed at Crown Equipment Company for seven years prior to her illness. She and her husband owned and operated Thompson Lime Service.

She was preceded in death by her father and daughter Danyel Dilley.

She is survived by her mother, her husband Mac, son David Dilley (Trista), Cloverdale, stepsons Kyle Thompson (Jordan), and Klynt Thompson and his fiancée Ashley Griffith, sisters Sandi Baker (Bud), Reelsville, Kay Kissick, Greenfield, and Sue Hewson (Mick), Greenfield, brothers Billy Medlin, Greencastle, and Jimmy Medlin (Cindy), Palm Beach Garden, Fla., granddaughters Kelsey and Raylea Dilley, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28, at Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Bowling Green.
