The National Weather Service based in Indianapolis issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Clay County effective until noon Tuesday.
The organization called for a 30 percent chance of snow until midday. In addition, it called for areas of blowing snow throughout the day.
Temperatures were expected to remain in the mid-20s.
According to the service, temperatures were expected to hover in the low-20s Tuesday evening.
The service also called for a 30 percent chance of snow or rain Wednesday afternoon, with highs expected in the upper-30s.
There is a 50 percent chance of more snow Wednesday evening.
