He was born in Clay County, Nov. 30, 1957, to Gerald Pugh and Judy Horn Pugh.
He was employed at J. & N. Metal Products as a welder/fabricator.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Jones Pugh, one son Joey Osborn and his wife Kary, and their children Shawnie Brewer, Corey Burris and Kirsten Burris, four daughters Sarah Osborn Suggs and husband Garry and their children Isabella and Colton Suggs, Mallory Pugh and her expected daughter Lillian Grace Randi -- whom Randy was eagerly anticipating her arrival, Emily Pugh, and Kayla Pugh, his parents Gerald and Judy Pugh, and one sister Sandy Lucas and her husband Thomas. Other survivors include two nieces Kelsey and Megan Lucas, one nephew Kyle Lucas, and one great niece Madison, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Juanita and Herman Haviland, Bertha and Bryant Pugh, and a great-grandfather Frank Lunsford.
Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at 1 p.m., with Mark Grayless officiating. Private burial will be in Ashboro Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his unborn granddaughter, Lillian Grace Randi, C/O of Riddell National Bank.
