The Clay County Chamber of Commerce will conduct its first Cornhole Tournament Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Brazil Elks Club.

Two rounds of competition have been scheduled. The first is for teams and in the second, a blind draw will be conducted pairing competitors with each other.

Area businesses are encouraged to sign up for the tournament or just to stop by.

Registration will begin at 5:30 p.m., and playing begins at 6.

Cost to enter is $15 for a two-man team of $10 for individuals -- who will eventually be paired with another teammate. The $10 cost gets individuals two games of cornhole.

There will also be a blind draw session of cornhole. In the blind draw, players will be paired together via draw. Cost to play in the blind draw tournament only will be $5.

Cost for a sponsorship is $20.

A cash prize of $50 will be given to the winning team.

Brazil Elks Club rules of Cornhole will be used.

Door prizes will also be available and a raffle for a new Cornhole board as well as a 50-50 drawing.

Raffle tickets are currently available from any Chamber of Commerce member.
