ROCKVILLE -- The North Clay seventh and-eighth-grade girls' basketball teams picked up road wins at Rockville on Thursday night.
The seventh-grade team posted a decisive 42-7 victory as Mikayla Rowan had 13 points and 16 rebounds.
McKenzi Kumpf added six points and eight rebounds with Ramey Miller tallying six points and Whitney Halfhill adding five. Both Abbey Timberman and Mallory Smith had four points followed by two each from Emily Conrad and Deaven McCrocklin.
In the eighth-grade game, North Clay advanced to 10-7 on the season with a 21-13 victory.
Lindsey Potter had six points followed by Natasha Barrett, Leeanna Knight and Emily Pollard with four each. Knight also had seven rebounds followed by six from Karlie Atkinson.
Both teams will hit the road Monday night for a 6 p.m. game at Edgewood.
