Born Dec. 20, 1956, in Terre Haute, he was the son of Harold Keller and Norma (Burress) Keller.
Tom was a 1976 graduate from Brazil High School. He participated in the Special Olympics for 28 years and also the Happiness Bag in Terre Haute. He enjoyed bowling, his favorite sport, watching the Olympics on TV and was also an avid Colts fan. He loved flowers and gardening shows, shopping at Goodwill and Walmart when he could.
Survivors include his mother, three brothers Joe and Kathy Keller, Steve and Penny Keller, and Robert and Melanie Keller, four nieces Kameko and Rusty Bennett, Megan, Morgan and Dakota Keller, three nephews Ryan and fiancée Nicole Williams, Chad and Jordan Keller, his special buddy and great nephew Cameron Bennett, and a new great niece Brookelyn Bennett, two aunts Ruby Bandy and Pauline Miller, cousins Linda Smith, Kelly Bandy, Nancy Diel, Kenny Bell, Marquita Hamm, Peggy Kline and Cliff Burress.
His father passed in 2004, and his grandparents Emery and Flossie Keller, and Cassel and Dortha Burress preceded him.
Visitation will be Monday, from 11-2 p.m., at the Roselawn Funeral Home. Services are at 2 p.m., at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Tom will be very much missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southern Care Terre Haute or to the Happiness Bag Terre Haute.
